Than maybe you<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> remember the integration methods that I <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">explained in my<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/compera.vanvlerken.nl\/en\/integrate-ariba-sap-invoice-management-opentext\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">blog<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> from February 2016<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">T<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">he Ariba Network integration <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">was <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">then <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">supported by two<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> different methods:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">SAP NetWeaver Process Integration (PI) in combination with the Ariba PI adapter;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"1\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The add-on Ariba Network Integration for SAP Business Suite.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">However, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">SAP has stated that the Business Suite Add-On is no longer available for new installations and no further enhancements will be made as of CI-9<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. For more information, please read note <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.support.sap.com\/#\/notes\/2400737\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">2400737<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">F<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ollowing the introduction of the SAP Ariba Clou<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">d Integration Gateway (CIG), S<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">AP Invoice Management by OpenText<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> now makes <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">now use<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> of this<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> new<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> i<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">n<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">tegration method as well.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> It supports <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">both <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">SAP ERP and SAP S\/4HANA<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-4031\" src=\"https:\/\/compera.vanvlerken.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/VIM-within-CIG.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"412\" srcset=\"https:\/\/compera.vanvlerken.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/VIM-within-CIG.png 1972w, https:\/\/compera.vanvlerken.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/VIM-within-CIG-300x121.png 300w, https:\/\/compera.vanvlerken.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/VIM-within-CIG-1024x412.png 1024w, https:\/\/compera.vanvlerken.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/01\/VIM-within-CIG-1080x434.png 1080w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">SAP Ariba CIG<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> integration<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">method <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">supports the following scenarios<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">:<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"4\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"1\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Inbound invoice. This includes<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> standard invoice, credit memo and non-PO invoices (including the support of attachments);<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233279&quot;:true}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li data-leveltext=\"\uf0b7\" data-font=\"Symbol\" data-listid=\"4\" aria-setsize=\"-1\" data-aria-posinset=\"2\" data-aria-level=\"1\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Outbound Invoice Status Update<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;134233279&quot;:true}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mapping of some fields were <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">standard <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">not supported by <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">CIG inbound logic at the time of the release<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> of the VIM integration component. These fields however can<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">be mapped into <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">IDOC<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> fields, for which you can extend the IDOC mapping.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">T<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">his<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">SAP Ariba CIG<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> integration <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">for VIM and Ariba Network<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> is <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">not only <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">future-proof<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">it also<\/span> <span data-contrast=\"auto\">gives you new opportunities to optimize your <\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">P2P-<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">proces<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">es<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">!<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you using SAP Invoice Management by OpenText (VIM) and are you processing invoices from suppliers that are on the Ariba Network?
